Kyle Robinson

From a young age, I was always fascinated by different forms of art and animation, and excelled in art classes. At the age of 13, I went for my first tattoo; Ren from the cartoon, Ren and Stimpy (italicize). In that moment, I knew I wanted to be a tattoo artist. I loved the art form, and how you had one chance to get it right.

Having a family in my early 20s put that dream on hold. Over twenty years later, my three youngest children asked me what I wanted to be when I was their age. After I told them a tattoo artist, they encouraged me to go for it. We always tell our kids to chase their dreams; and I wanted to show them that it’s never too late and you shouldn’t give up.

Now at 45, I am a junior artist at Kelowna Tattoo Collective, and have been loving every second of it! All thanks to my kids! My preferred styles are traditional, neo-traditional, and new school; but the list is always growing as I learn the different tattoo styles. However, I am open to tattooing any new and challenging ideas and am looking forward to meeting you!
